The Studio is run by designer Sara Efia Reddin, a textile and object designer born in London with Ghanaian heritage. Educated at St Central Martins College of Art, she worked for many years in Paris before moving to Barcelona in 2021.

The studio is a creative space and a workshop where we design, develop, assemble and package all the Golden Editions collections.

Sara Efia was originally inspired by her Ghanaian Mother and Aunt's African craft collections. The basketry, leather goods, sculptures in wood or bronze, and beautiful woven or printed cloths, these items decorated her everyday life. The brand is deeply inspired by West Africa and also draws on inspiration found in Sara Efia's journey; the creativity of London, the refined aesthetic of Paris and the Mediterranean spirit of Barcelona.
