Description
Do you like the unexpected? This sculptural large pendant lamp contains a little surprise, it is made from two separate structures — a wide lampshade and an inner lantern — creating an interesting and arty shape. Open weave stripes and touch of brown make this lamp a creative centrepiece for your room.
The lamp is designed in our studio and woven by hand with Veta Vera, a naturally durable grass, using a traditional basket weaving technic from Bolgatanga, in the north of Ghana. The lamps are woven over four days by an association of weavers who have honed their art to make our contemporary shapes.
