Are you looking for contemporary pattern but love traditional craft? This hand-woven graphic cushion has a beautiful delicate pattern woven in a striped repetition giving it a contemporary touch. This XL durable cotton cushion (measuring 70 cm x 40 cm) is finely woven with vibrant contrasting colours and will revive your living room or bedroom. It sits wonderfully alone or as a backdrop to one of our other Kente cushions
The Kente textile patterns of the Ewe people of Eastern Ghana are both traditional and Contemporary. We have playfully revisited these motifs in our design studio. Designed by Sara Efia Reddin and woven by master weavers in the Volta region of Ghana, this cotton cushion is a beautiful touch of graphic history. The cushions are finished by a local seamstress and take around 3 days each to weave.
Slight differences in pattern repeat and colour are completely normal. Not recommended for use outside or on terraces. The fabric dyes are natural and may fade if placed in direct sunlight.
